Protéines plasmatiques à date d’expiration rapprochée

On June 30, 2014 Canadian Blood Services implemented a new process for distributing short dated Plasma Protein Products (PPP). “Short dated PPP” is defined as any lot number of PPP that is less than six months from expiry. This change is expected to improve the inventory management of PPP, for both Canadian Blood Services and transfusion service providers, as the new process will increase awareness of product shelf life and ensure short dated PPP distribution is targeted towards customers who have a high probability of product usage before outdate.
