Always happy to roll-up my sleeve!

I was inspired by you to become a blood donor, back in the 70s, while studying at Pacific Vocational School, on the BCIT campus, as a teenager. Noticed what appeared to be a Bookmobile, over on Willingdon Ave., during the lunch break. Walked over there to discover a pleasant young woman, with a warm smile, who explained what a BLOODmobile actually was and she asked if I would like to donate. Clueless, but open to new experiences, I did so, without hesitation. A pint from inside me for the first time, of what could easily save a life was left and I had just a band aid over a wad of gauze and a warm, happy feeling - she had explained things so easily to me. I recall stating I would not hesitate to do it again. 135 donations later, now, I am still of that thought. Now, a recent Grandfather and I see the need to continue donating more than ever!
